SasuSaku:He never came back

'He didn't come back till today.I cried..and..cried..and searched for him but...nothing..My heart still aches...it still hurts...Why did he leave my side?'
"Sakura!Are you crying?"

"No,Naruto.I don't have tears anymore."

"Ohh..I wanted to tell you that I can't come today home with you,i have to meet with Hina-chan.I'm sor--"

"Shh...don't say anything more-such a good guy-Enjoy yourselves!"

"Uhmm..Yeah,sure,Thanks a lot,Sakura!Then see ya tomorrow."

"Yeah... tomorrow..."

'He has been going out with Hinata for two years..and because we couldn't get Sasuke back he accompanied me at school and back at home.Now I am 18.It's been already 3 years since Sasuke left.I don't know what I'm feeling for him anymore.I don't know if it's hate,disappointment or still love.I just hope it'll end soon ,before I found out what feeling this is.'

'I didn't have any missions for some time,Tsunade-sama knows why and protects me and tries to smile even if I know she's sad.She's the only one who knows the reason.I'm not sad anymore I'm used with this thought..even if sometimes it is painful..the life goes on ..and she's still beautiful even with her sad moments.'


"I'm home!"

'It's quiet..like always.I don't mind.I don't have any relatives and my parents..I don't know where they are..so I'm alone in this small house.I live near a flower shop.The nights are quite beautiful and the smell of flowers is everywhere.Every spring ,the cherry tree in front of my window will bloom beautifully.I really like to live in Konoha,I really like this place.'
"Heh"
'Tears are coming down from my eyes..'
"Che"
'I better go to the library.It's late already.'


'The route I go to the library everyday is very quiet  and not many people walk by there.I like it.'

'I don't take books home.It's not secure,so I just read them quietly here.The genres I like are: romance with a little drama,I like tragedies..I read occasionally horror..but often I read medical books.I don't talk with people like I used to,and at school I have just one friend,Naruto.I made Ino hate me so much that she doesn't stand to look at my face,also Hina,Tenten and Temari don't like me anymore and the other guys consider me a bi*ch.I understand them,I've been very rude and mean with them,but is much better this way.I tried to distant Naruto too from me,but he's a little weird so he doesn't get angry so easily and he always sticks with me;yup full of guilt because he couldn't persuade Sasuke to come back.But he can recover fast, so he'll be fine'

'It's past 09:00pm,I better go home..the library will close soon....
The night is still cold for spring and the wind blows slowly.It feels cool.I wish I can walk like this forever...if time would stop...
I felt a little tired these days and my head kept hurting;it hurts even now....I really fear.....Never mind,when it's going to happen,it will happen..so I better go to sleep.I'm not sad anymore,yes I'm not..just that.... I couldn't apologize to my friends,to Sasuke personally..I hope  I can be forgiven for my mistakes.
Tears began to fall,I believed that I didn't have tears anymore,...my head still hurts.'


The next day Sasuke returned to Konoha,Naruto and everybody came to Sakura's house..with him to give her the good news.Even Ino was there,because she was worried when she found out that Sakura called the school in the morning to tell she is sick.

Everybody talked happily all the way there.Sakura's door was open,so they came quietly in to not wake her up.She was still asleep,the window was open and some cherry petals flew in and landed on her sheet.She was really pale.

"Hey,Sakura!Hey wake up,Sasuke is back!"screamed Naruto.

"Hey!"said Sasuke with a weird smirk on his face.
Meanwhile Ino saw a paper on the table with some words on it:'I'm sorry to all of you!I'm so sorry for all the words I said,but that was for your own good and I'm so sorry Naruto because I didn't tell you.And Sasuke even if you're here or not .I want you to know  I still love you,but I cannot forget.And for me you never came back!
P.S.:Tsunade-sama knows all the truth,and one more time sorry guys.Don't worry..even if I was alone..I smiled till the end.Good-bye!"

Ino froze,the letter fell down and Naruto started crying,while Sasuke was in shock.They realized that Sakura was dead.

All of them read the letter many times,while their tears kept falling down.They talked with Tsunade and learned about Sakura's illness,all the questions were answered,all of them, about the cause of her strange comportment,and about her sudden change.

The funeral was a very sad one.Of all of them,Sasuke was the most affected one 'I still love you',he couldn't stop thinking about those words..and his tears were falling down full of guilt.
"Why..Why didn't I come earlier?"



When the funeral was done,all the people left,just the four friends were still there..alone: Naruto,Hinata,Sasuke and Sakura.

"C'mon ,Sasuke,let's go home!"

"Why?Why Naruto?Why?"

"I don't know."

Hinata was still crying,while the two of them were trying hard to keep their tears from falling.

"Let's go, Sasuke!"said Naruto in a low voice."Let's go."

"But..Sakura..she.."

"Your presence here it's meaningless,for her...you never came back..Let's go!"

"Yeah..you're right.I was a little too late."

"And cruel,Sasuke...Let's go now!"

*step*step*step*

"Goodbye Sakura,see you in afterlife..."
